4. Retention of Notary Journal Entries
Old Towne Notary maintains a bound and sequential notary journal in compliance with California Government Code §8206. All notarial acts are recorded in this journal and retained for the duration of the notary’s active commission.
Members of the public may request a copy of a specific line-item journal entry by submitting a written request that includes:

The names of the parties involved

The type of document notarized

The month and year the act was performed
A fee of $0.30 per page applies, as permitted by law. Please note: the original notary journal remains in the exclusive custody of the notary and cannot be released or surrendered except by court order or upon request of the county clerk.

5. Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Wix and its integrated payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Square). Old Towne Notary does not store your full payment card details.
