Service Description

Description: We provide secure, professional courier and notary services for documents requiring apostille certification through the California Secretary of State in Los Angeles. Unlike standard mail-in options that can take weeks, we hand-deliver and return your documents within 2–3 business days. What’s Included: Pick-up in Orange County (by appointment) Up to 2 notarizations of documents (if required, CA fee of $15 per signature applies) Hand-delivery to the Secretary of State in Los Angeles (Mon–Fri, excluding state holidays) Processing wait time at the SOS counter Secure return of completed apostilled documents (hand-delivery in OC or mailed USPS Priority/FedEx/UPS, postage up to $15 included) Status updates and confirmation upon completion Important Notes: Weekend pick-ups and returns are available. Submission to the SOS will occur the next business day (Monday, or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). Certified translations are not provided. If your documents require translation for use abroad, you must obtain a certified translation before notarization and apostille. Turnaround Time: 2–3 business days from pick-up (excluding weekends and holidays). Holiday closures may extend processing times.


Cancellation Policy

Because Old Towne Notary operates by appointment, cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to receive a full refund. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 20% of the quoted or booked service fee to cover lost availability. Same-Day Bookings: For appointments scheduled on the same day, any request to cancel or reschedule after booking may result in a non-refundable charge of up to the full booking fee, especially if travel, printing, or preparation has already begun. This ensures that short-notice commitments, resources, and blocked availability are fairly compensated. Please note: If travel has already begun, printing has been completed, or any portion of your service package has been started, those costs are non-refundable.
